Bulgaria is the most attractive place in terms of outsourcing in Europe and the single European country featured in the A.T. Kaerney world rating. 51 countries took part in the survey and Bulgaria took the prestigious 9th place among the most desired outsourcing destinations reported the Bulgarian outsourcing agency.
This is the second time in the last 7 years Bulgaria can be found among the top 10 countries in the same list. Compared to 2011 when the survey was last conducted Bulgaria has moved up 8 places.
Bulgaria’s position in the prestigious list is a great recognition for the outsourcing industry’s efforts, the stability it has reached and the economic potential of the country.
The top 3 countries in this year’s list are taken by India, China and Malaysia with Asia dominating the list. Central Europe offers mature industry and multiple experienced players for 50% of the cost compared to Western Europe. The advantage in terms of cost is even bigger in Southeastern Europe.
A.T. Kearney composes the list on the basis of 39 indicators gathered in three categories : financial attractiveness, business environment, availability and skills of the human resources. The A.T. Kearney index is an important factor for the companies when choosing an outsourcing location on the global service market. The other countries on the top 10 list include Mexico, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Brazil and Egypt.
