So, we had the birthday party, the 20th birthday of Eurolink Investment Group Plc. A great party indeed! Already the talk of the town, since last Sunday!
The Reception for celebrating the Group’s anniversary and the official opening of the new corporate offices at Central Point in Varna, hosted by Dr. Chris Violaris, Executive Chairman, the Directors and the staff of the Group, took place on Saturday, Oct 25th, 2014, in the new offices. It all started with a glass of champagne and an emotional message, bursting with wisdom and loyalty to our mission and “corporate dream”, from Dr. Violaris. He shared his live memories of those inspiring but at the same time difficult years! The Group’s Executive Chairman continued with his views on the economic situation in Bulgaria and the region of Varna in particular, and expressed his hopes and plans for further and intense development of the region.
Among the guests who honored us with their presence were Mr. Ivan Tabakov, Chairman of the Varna Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Nedyalko Nedelchev, Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany and the French Republic, Mr. Antonio Tarquinio, Honorary Consul of Italy, Prof. Dr. Aneliya Klisarova, former Minister of Education and Science, Taner Veli, Regional Mufti of Varna, and many notaries, lawyers, bankers, doctors, ex-employees of the Group and many more.
Later in the evening the celebration continued with the birthday song, candles blown by Chris Violaris together with his granddaughter Amelie and godchildren Lara and Raya (what birthday party would it be if it was without having the sweet girls there), and a grand, beautiful and delicious birthday cake, which was cut by Silviya Serban, Head of the Legal Department of Eurolink and Zhanina Bukovska, a friend and former employee of the Group. The guests also enjoyed the wonderful treat and especially the Cypriot delicacies, such as Afelia, prepared by Mr. Violaris himself!!!
