Terminal 2 at Varna Airport has been active for merely a year but 1,366 million passengers have gone through it already. The information has been made public by the concessionaire company Fraport Twin Star Management AD.
148 airline companies operate on Terminal 2 providing flights to 244 destinations.12 089 flights have been serviced over the past year. The highest month for Terminal 2 was August 2014 when on the first day of the month 19 790 passengers were handled in 24 hours.
The investment of Fraport in the new Terminal and the surrounding infrastructure amounts to more than 75 million BGN.
