Both Bulgarian export and import have gone up since January 1st according national statistical data.
Between January and July 2014 Bulgarian export to EU has gone up 3.6% compared to the same time period the previous year and amounts to 15.2 billion BGN. Germany, Italy, Romania, Greece, France and Belgium are main commercial partners of Bulgaria forming 72.3% of the export to EU-members. In July 2014 export to EU has gone up 7.5% compared to July 2013 and amounts to 2.6 billion BGN according to preliminary data of National Statistical Institute.
Import to Bulgaria from EU from January to July 2014 has gone up 2.3% according to the same time period in 2013 and amount to 17.7 billion BGN. Most goods have been imported from Greece, Romania, Germany, Italy and Spain.
